Elaf Kinda is a 15 floor hotel, that is completely surrounded by the Makkah Clock Towers (Abraj Al-Bayt) complex and the Makkah Hotel and Towers. It stands wedged between the Maqam and Zamzam towers. It is not a part of the Makkash Clock Towers complex and has no connection to the Abraj Al Bait Mall.

It is, however, only a two minute walk to King Fahd Gate, 79 and has a very easy access form Ibrahim Al Khalil Road (Kabootar Chowk).

While it does not offer all the facilities like the neighbouring hotels, It strives to exceed the level of comfort in the rooms and competes in the dining experience for almost 2/3 the price.

The Rooms

Elaf Kinda Hotel has 240 rooms and suites. You can get a view of the Haram, which however, is limited by the surrounding buildings. The views of the Haram are limited to Suites and high occupancy rooms.

Room sizes range form 190 sq.ft to 385 sq. ft. The occupancy varies form twin, to triple and quadruple.

Suites feature separate living rooms and bedrooms. Options include:

Junior Suite with Haram view: 1 bedroom, 398 sq.ft
Executive Suite with Haram view: 1 bedroom, 560sq.ft
Family Suite with city view: 2 bedrooms, 538 sq.ft

All rooms are furnished with a desk and chair, a flat-screen TV, a small fridge, coffee and tea making facility and free WiFi.

Accessibility

Elaf Kinda Hotel accommodates guests with wheelchair, with their Accessible Rooms. These rooms have sensors, visual and audible alarms, braille signage and labels on all items. The bathrooms have additional alarms, grab-bars and roll-in-showers.

Recently, accessibility has vastly improved between the Hotel and the Haram. There is a ramped entrance and the street is now paved with marble. This has, however, allowed for people praying in the street during the most crowded nights of the year.
