The Oberoi is one of the most famous hotels in Madinah. It was built in 1987 by the India based Oberoi Group and it occupies an envious space in the North-West corner of the courtyard of the Masjid An Nabawi.

The Oberoi Madinah offers Standard Rooms and a choice of Suites to choose from. For most visitors, the Standard Rooms will suffice. They are furnished with twin beds, plush armchairs and a walk-in wardrobe. The en-suite bathrooms have a wall mounted shower and all amenities. Interconnecting room options are available.
You also be offered a pillow-menu when checking in to choose a pillow of your preference.
For larger families and groups the Oberoi Madinah offers "Family Rooms": which include all features of the Standard rooms but are furnished with up-to 4 single beds
The Studio Rooms are a step up in luxury and trim. While nearly the same size as the Standard Rooms, they have a single king-bed and therefore, have seemingly extra floor space.
The Suites feature separate living and sleeping areas. The Junior Suites have one bedroom and face either the Prophet's mosque or the city (with a partial view of Jannat-ul-Baqee) . The Executive and the Royal Suites have two bedrooms each with its own en-suite bathroom. The Royal Suites additionally feature a Whirlpool/Jacuzzi, a separate dining room and a living room with an additional powder-room.
All rooms have a 24-hour butler service. You can have them order a taxi, food, arrange tours, confirm your reservations and even arrange your travel to Makkah or Jeddah. In-room amenities include a flat-screen TV, WiFi, Air-conditioning controls, tea and coffee makers, an electronic safe and a fridge with a snack-bar (not complimentary).

Al Ansar
Open 24 hours a day, Al Ansar offers a buffet of Arabic, Western, Indian and Asian cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It has a bakery to supply fresh bread and desserts. You also have an option to order from a menu.
The Mogul Room
Specializing in North Indian Cuisine, you will find Chicken and Lamb dishes such as Biryani, Korma and Kebabs as well as a selection of vegetarian dishes. The Mogul Room is open for Lunch and Dinner
Kyoto.
Madinah's first authentic Japanese restaurant, offers a conservative menu consisting of Maki rolls and Teppanyaki. However, for the more initiated, there is a live sushi bar. The Kyoto is only open for lunch and dinner and is closed in the late afternoon.
The Tea Room
Serves a wide selection of teas and coffees that can be paired with a variety of desserts on the menu. You can also grab a light meal of hot pizza and sandwiches.
The Lobby
Coffee and dates are available in the lobby of the Oberoi Madinah at anytime of the day and night. The Lobby is also a great space to wind down and catch-up with friends or colleagues
Shopping at the Oberoi
The Oberoi has a two level shopping complex where you will find many global designer brands as well as local shops selling souvenirs, perfumes, abayas and dates.
Keep Fit and Rejuvenate
The Oberoi Madinah has a fitness room available to guests. There are a few basic equipment such as tread-mill, a recumbent bike, free-weights and stretch-mats.
There is a gentleman's spa offering massages, manicures and pedicures, facials and barbering services. The staff is all male and fully trained.

The Oberoi Madinah has four events rooms that can be accessed form the 20th floor. For high-profile meetings and seminars, there is an elegant meeting room that can hold up-to 120 people. There are three banquet halls that can be configured to have anywhere between 50 to 400 guests seated. These banquet halls can be used for all kinds of events and weddings. There are separate facilities for men and women, a stage and an elevated gallery for bridal couples.
Parking and Airport Shuttle
Parking is available for free for guests at the Oberoi Madinah. Valets are also available (for gratuity) to park your car and give it a wash and vacuum.
A shuttle service to Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz International Airport can be hired form the hotel with additional charges.
